San Jose, Costa Rica. April 7th, 2014 – At the end of 2013, the Costa Rica Fire Department published “Bomberos Boletines” (Spanish for “Firefighter Bulletins”), their second mobile application built by aPlicativa. This new iOS app presents a digital version of the informative bulletin of the Fire Department, and is joining the very successful “Bomberos CR”, which keeps the population and voluntary personnel informed about emergencies handled by the institution. Both applications are pioneers in using mobile technologies to bring the general public closer to government institutions, and to increase awareness of the work of this meritorious national institution.
“Bomberos Boletines” is now available for download at no cost from the Apple store (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bomcr-info/id777935280?mt=8), and an Android version will be released in the near future.
